Let me introduce myself

I write love stories for people who feel things deeply and carry more than they let on.

My books live in that tender space between heartbreak and hope — where humour sits beside heaviness, where people are doing their best with the emotional hand they’ve been dealt, and where love isn’t always simple but is always worth the risk. I’m drawn to characters who are imperfect and trying, who want connection but are learning how to trust it.

I’m based in Wales, where I teach by day and write in the in-between moments — after school runs, between marking, on the sofa with a cup of tea (usually my third of the day), or occasionally fuelled by an iced caramel latte if I’m feeling rebellious. Editing happens at the dining table. Writing happens wherever I can carve out space.

I share my home with a Goldador called Travis, who has never once respected a creative deadline.

I’m both sentimental and practical, depending on what the moment calls for — which probably explains my characters, too. More than anything, I care about kindness. In real life and on the page. The kind of love that feels steady. The kind of people who stay.

If you’ve ever laughed through something hard, loved while still healing, or wished someone would just understand without you having to explain — you’re exactly who I write for.

You’re safe here.
